Blog Schedule

First off, my apologies for not posting at all for a couple months.  I have been very busy with a combination of work (new project with a tight schedule), family activities, taxes, and such.

I will not make any specific promises, but my life has calmed down a bit, and I will do my best to get more posts out – I have way too many partially written posts.

Tony – Drop me an email – I have some experience with DX15 servo amps.

Hi Tony, I hear ya on the lack of time thing. Hope everything is going well! I may be linking to your Free PLC Simulators post in a future article; are there any that you think would be appropriate / generic enough to teach an online class with? (including cheap ones)

Hi Frank,
Sorry I haven’t answered sooner; I plan on writing much more next week, but for now I’ll first admit that I haven’t had tried out most of the PLC simulators (just the OpenPCS which I did not find intuitive). The main PLC simulator I’ve used is the Siemens’ Logo! SoftComfort, which is pretty easy to use, but the Logo! does not use standard ladder logic (and only a trial version is available).
